Your experiences of the COVID-19 vaccination programme
Summary
During June and July 2022 Healthwatch Sunderland, in partnership with the
Sunderland GP Alliance, launched a survey to gather people’s experiences of receiving their COVID-19 vaccine with a focus on whether local people had taken up the offer to be immunised.

Patient feedback is invaluable to the delivery and improvement of all clinical services, in particular the COVID-19 vaccination programme. It provides assurance that the service which we offer is both of high quality and accessible to patients. The information in Healthwatch’s report will help us to work with our partners across the city to improve vaccination uptake by raising awareness of the continued importance of vaccination against COVID-19, in particular during the autumn and winter of 2022.
