Summary
We have visited Donwell House Care Home, the visits were carried out by Healthwatch Sunderland staff and volunteers who are trained so that they can effectively capture the resident’s experience.
At the visits residents were asked a range of questions via a set questionnaire. The questions were designed to reflect the objectives of the visit. Observations were made on the physical environment and staff/resident interaction etc.
