Marigold Nursing Home
On Monday 8th January we had the pleasure of visiting Marigold Nursing Home to present them with their third Healthwatch Sunderland Star Award.
On this occasion the home was nominated by 13 individuals, all of whom were family members or friends of residents at the home. There was a special mention from some for the registered manager of the home, Bijumon Joseph which included;
“This man treats his responsibilities more than just a job. He cares about the residents on an individual level. He leads his staff from the front, gets fully engaged whilst linking the family to the care home with genuine friendship and compassion.”
Another person said about the care home as a whole;
“All members of the home are professional, reliable and friendly. They know me by name, which is reassuring. The managers ethos is clearly shared by staff.”
Bijumon Joseph said;
“Thank you for your visit and giving us a Star Award and thank you very much for your continuing support, we are really appreciating your kindness and compassion towards to us.”
Well done to Bijumon and the team at Marigold and thank you for the work you do on behalf of your residents and their families and friends!
