Anna and Wendy from the team had the recent pleasure of presenting one of our Star Awards to one of the lovely staff teams working for St. Anne's Community Services.
The team, based at one of the care companies supported living accommodations in the North of the city, received the award following a nomination from the parents of one of the residents.
They wished to make the nomination for the outstanding care their son receives, who in their opinion has the best time living there. They informed us the following:
“All of Karen's staff are like her constantly caring and kind and the go above and beyond. They show love, respect and are always professional. They ensure the client always comes first.”
The team were overjoyed with their nomination which came as a surprise. Manager Karen stated:
“We are delighted to receive this award; our team truly do go that “extra mile” when supporting our clients to maintain good health. Creative thinking and proactive planning play a big part in striving to get positive outcomes for the clients. The recognition from Healthwatch is good for staff moral. We would like to thank Mr and Mrs W for the nomination.”
Anna said;
“It was so lovely to meet everyone is such a warm and welcoming environment. It really was a delight to give this service one of our Star Awards. Once again well done and congratulations from all the Healthwatch team.”
