Will you help find the missing men?

Prostate cancer referrals fall by 52,000 due to Covid-19. Help find the missing men.

Prostate cancer doesn't stop for Covid-19. That’s why Prostate Cancer UK are so alarmed by NHS data showing a sharp fall in men being referred by GPs for diagnostic tests in the last year.

Today, they're asking for your help to find the missing men.

Since March 2020, urgent referrals by GPs in England have dropped by around 52,000. It's likely this happened because of fewer conversations between men and their GP.

There's an alarming drop in men receiving treatment for prostate cancer – 8,600 fewer men than the year before. Prostate Cancer UK need your help to find these men and help them get a diagnosis before it’s too late to be cured.

Andrew Richardson from West Yorkshire was diagnosed in September and is so grateful his cancer was caught early. He says, “despite being diagnosed in the middle of the pandemic, I’ve had a really positive experience, and I hope everyone gets that.”

Will you help find thousands of men like Andrew before it's too late?
